On the evening of November 9, we received from the Party Committee of our parent company a forwarded urgent notice from the Organization Department of the Municipal Party Committee titled “Notice on Seriously Carrying Out the Study and Promotion of the Special Program ‘Role Models 3’.” The Party Branch of Puguang Company attached great importance to this notice and immediately conveyed its requirements to every party member, ensuring strict compliance with the notice’s stipulations.

At 8 p.m. that evening, all party members of the branch watched, each on their own, from home the special program “Role Models 3,” jointly produced by the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee and the China Media Group, which highlights exemplary stories of outstanding Communist Party members and advanced grassroots Party organizations. They promptly recorded their viewing experiences. The program introduced the remarkable deeds of several individuals through various formats, including reenactments of typical events, interviews with leading role models, and sharing of their original aspirations for joining the Party. These individuals include Song Shusheng, former Director of the Central Compilation and Translation Bureau; He Xinglong, a rural doctor from Letang Village, Xujiaduo Township, Daning County, Linfen City, Shanxi Province; Li Yuanmin, Secretary of the Party Branch of Gaimai Village, Hudiayuzi Town, Yining County, Xinjiang; Wang Shufang, Deputy Director of the Navigation Center at the China Transportation Communications & Information Center under the Ministry of Transport; Yin Chunrong, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Command Office of the Border Defense Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security; Zhu Renbin, Party Secretary of Lujiacun Village, Anji County, Zhejiang Province; Zhao Zhongxian, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences; and three representatives from the Party Committee of the First National Survey Team under the Ministry of Natural Resources—the nation’s advanced grassroots Party organization. Through their concrete actions, these role models have demonstrated the Communist Party members’ unwavering commitment to staying true to their original aspirations and keeping their mission firmly in mind, while also showcasing the spirit of Communist Party members—firm faith, deep concern for the masses, courage to take responsibility, and dedication to innovation and service.

The viewing experience deeply resonated with every Party member in the branch. Everyone expressed that, through studying these exemplary role models, they had gained a profound understanding of the beliefs, dedication, perseverance, sense of responsibility, proactive actions, commitment, and spirit of innovation that Communist Party members should embody. They pledged to diligently put into practice their original vows through unremitting efforts. Moreover, they indicated that in the future, they would genuinely take these role models as examples, continuously enhance their own capacity for taking responsibility and acting decisively, stay grounded in their respective posts, and fulfill their duties as Party members.

The Party branch of Puguang Company regards this study session as an important component of deepening the thematic education and practice campaign—“Safeguarding the Core, Forging Loyalty, Taking Responsibility, and Strengthening Party Branches”—and of promoting the regular and institutionalized implementation of the “Two Studies, One Action” learning and education initiative. The branch will further organize all employees across the plant to learn from the exemplary spirit, sparking a vigorous learning boom within the enterprise, spreading the power of role models, and putting their exemplary conduct into practice. In doing so, we aim to guide and inspire all Party members and employees to firmly uphold General Secretary Xi Jinping’s core status, resolutely safeguard the authority and centralized, unified leadership of the Party Central Committee, and, with a new spirit and a renewed fighting posture, advance socialism with Chinese characteristics to new heights. We will fully mobilize the enthusiasm of Party members and employees, enabling them to make greater contributions to the company’s development.
